Over the years, it's become more difficult to find competent persons to come inside of your home and do what they said they would. Too often, it's a situation of a fellow filling in between jobs, or needing gas money. Under qualified, unfunded and frankly, looking to make just enough to get down the road. The phrase 'Construction Standard' has become an excuse for shoddy workmanship, improper techniques, second rate materials and some very disappointed customers, dismayed at the state of the skilled trade known as carpentry...

It stops here...

Every morning starts as an accumulation of what I did yesterday. If done correctly, it will be an easy and productive day. Craftsmanship boils down to a process of focusing on the fine details, step by step, to produce a beautiful finished project, but not on the actual finishing of the project... That will generally take care of itself.
